Each is available at 1920 x 1200 (16:10 aspect ratio, “widescreen”) and 1600 x 1200 (4:3 aspect ratio, “standard”).
These beautiful images are either Wikipedia featured pictures or Commons featured pictures.
They are fairly largeand have an aspect ratio of 4:3 or 5:4.

A beautiful photo collection of the images taken during Microsoft’s Windows Vista photo-shoot. Two of which are currently shipped in the Vista installation disk, while the rest did not make the cut into Vista’s Wallpaper Collection.
These pics were taken around Australia with my Sony Cybercam 6 megapixel.
There are also nice scenic photos from Malaysia and Singapore.
